About Allison

Sometimes life can be so demanding. Trying to juggle everything in front of us seems impossible. I can provide companionship for your loved one when you're not able to. I am not a nurse or other professional but I do have patience, compassion and knowledge. For the past 13 years I have been my ex husband's care giver in my home. He was in a motorcycle accident leaving him partially immobile. Sinve then he has had mutiple health issues including 3 strokes. He is now in a rehabilitation facility after another amputation. I am his advocate there. I also helped take care of his father who had Alzheimer's. It was difficult for everyone in the household but I think my mother-in-law's inability to come to terms with it was the most impactful. Currently, I provide part time assistance to two lovely ladies. We go for walks, play games and do crafts and sometimes just sit outside and talk.
