About Allie

My name is Allie. I'm a military spouse living in Anacortes. I have a BS in Chemical Engineering from UCLA and a Masters in Business Administration also from UCLA. My tutoring approach is: 1) build students confidence 2) empower them to develop critical thinking skills, and 3) and help them discover their own true curiosity. I actively listen and observe to understand each student's learning style and where they get frustrated or discouraged. My super powers are: 1) connecting challenging topics to real-world examples and 2) breaking down complex problems. The most rewarding part? Witnessing those "aha!" moments and a student's growing confidence. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at various locations. I love helping students find joy in learning, and I'd be thrilled to help your student succeed!
