About Allie

I'd describe my personality as hardworking, responsible, and compassionate. I like working with kids because I love seeing them grow. Watching them develop a new skill or build on a skill they previously knew is very special. Being able to support them during such a vital time of growth is very rewarding! I'm looking for a job that is consistent and offers areas for me to grow. I am looking to build a relationship with the family and build trust with the children. I started working with kids during my third year in undergrad. I volunteered at a preschool (3-5 years old) and worked at an after school program/summer camp (5-10 years old) before I moved to Arizona for graduate school. In my spare time, I like to walk/play with my dog. I also like to cross-stitch, cook, read, watch tv, and FaceTime my siblings. One thing you should know about me is I am always willing to learn. My skills include creative thinking, patience, and communication.
