About Allie

I am comfortable teaching elementary and middle school math and English. High school English is also acceptable. Avid reader and writer. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, but also very on-task. I like tutoring because it brings me joy to teach something that a student might not know! When something clicks for a student is the moment I know I'm doing my job right. I'm looking for a job that allows me to tutor effectively. I do not mind if your student has special needs or a learning disability as I also grew up with similar issues myself! I started tutoring when I was in my sophomore year of high school. Most was volunteer work through a community center and my own school, but it is work I am proud of. In my spare time, I like to read, write, draw, crochet, and do all sorts of crafts! One thing you should know about me is that I believe that everyone can be taught. My skills include organizational skills, math and English. Those are the areas I'm most comfortable in.
