About Allegra

I have been caring for children, from newborns to teenagers, for the past 11 years in various capacities. I have worked as a Pre-K Assistant and in other childcare roles ranging from being a full-time nanny to an occasional babysitter. In the past, my duties have included: cooking/baking, light cleaning, school drop-off/pick-up, helping with homework, reading, playing games, etc. After spending from 2020 to 2022 caring for my mother through her treatment for Stage 3 breast cancer while helping raise my niece, I am now pursuing a Master of Psychology degree at the University of Edinburgh with a focus on developmental psychology. Therefore, while I stay with my mother in the Hamptons during my summer break, I am hoping I can use my years of experience and interest to help another family get the childcare they need this summer.
