About Aliya

Hi, I'm Aliya! An international childcare professional with 9 years experience across New York, Lisbon, Madrid, & the Netherlands. I've worked as an ESL teacher, tutor, and nanny. Helping children thrive academically and adapt to new cultures. :) In New York, I led the Amigos Club mentorship program and worked as a daycare assistant & camp counsellor at The Westchester Jewish Center. In Madrid, I taught English as a second language to grades 3-5 at a local elementary school and tutored privately. In the Netherlands, I was a nanny and teacher to a family that had moved from Beijing. I assisted them in adjusting to the Netherlands and helped the child progress from little English proficiency to confident communication. As a tutor and nanny, I am kind, patient, and encouraging of curiosity. I have full-time availability starting in September and references upon request.
