About Aliyah

Hi! My name is Aliyah, and I am new to Care. com. I am a responsible, energetic, and caring caregiver with a passion for working with children. I recently graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and have years of experience mentoring and teaching youth. I'm a math intervention specialist working at two schools in Los Angeles, where I support students and provide tutoring (special needs too). I also have 3. 5 years of preschool teaching experience, over 5 years of babysitting, and 3 years as a dance teacher. I'm also a professional dancer. I'm passionate about STEM education and have taught engineering-based lessons and activities to elementary and middle school students. I love creating fun, engaging, and educational activities, and my top priority is always ensuring children feel safe, supported, and happy.
