Private educator/adventure nanny for a family looking for more than just traditional childcare! I have 10 years of experience as a private educator, adventure nanny, creative mentor, and travel-ready support person who can help build a rich, skill-based learning environment around a child's real interests. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, patient, fun, and adaptable! I like working with kids because it's amazing to teach them skills that will carry with them for the rest of their lives. I am a lover of all people and animals and I truly believe my purpose is to bring a sense of joy and excitement towards learning. I started working with kids as a snorkel/swim instructor teaching the importance of safety, reef conservation, and marine biology. I got my captains license, started working on ships teaching the same, & also working as an offshore educator teaching math, celestial navigation, seamanship, core skills like team building, marine biology, history, and meteorology.
