I spent most of my high school experience working with students who have special needs! I participated in Unified sports and volunteered with Westbrook's Buddy Baseball team! I was partnered to work with a young student who struggled with developing social skills and who struggled with ADHD during my last year of high school and I was so grateful to become her mentor/buddy! I have lots of experience babysitting for families in Westbrook and I have helped a family regularly by watching their daughter who has Down syndrome. I am studying to become a Speech Pathologist at Uconn so I also interned with the Speech Pathologist in our district and helped her work with her young students as well!
