As a current certified teacher, former childcare, Pre-K/kindergarten teacher, and former CNA, I have over 20 years experience working with children and adults of all abilities. I also have a culinary degree and prepared nutritious meals for families.

Alita was dependable and put so much effort into making the kids day fun & engaging. They loved her. 

She has a great heart. She's had experience a lot of experience with the elderly, children and special needs children. She was an amazing caretaker of her parents. Alita is also an excellent teacher. She is patient, kind and compassionate to others. Alita is a hard worker and has a passion for children and the elderly.

I am a retired public school teacher .Alita worked with me as a classroom assistant . We worked with regular education students and children with special needs . She always showed care and patience with children , and she worked well with adults . She did everything expected , and went above and beyond .

She has had some personal family situations that needed her help . She was a loving daughter to her parents , and a caring parent to her children .

Alita was a lead teacher of children with special needs. She care for each child in a very unique way. The children needs were sever, they could not do anything for themselves.  A day with Alita morning greeting each child is changed if they are wet.  Breakfast is served. Some children were fed by tube liquid meal that would go directly to the stomach. These children were on timers which had to be monitor. Circle time activities for all children, include morning song, whose  in school today with assistance they would stamp there card for present. Follow by story time read by teacher. I remind you the children depend solely on Alita.  Lunch time same processes as above.  It's nap time now each child is lifted from their wheelchair to their neat resting area. Before nap time each child is changed.  A day with Alita and the children.  I worked with Alita and helper for months.

I highly recommend Alita as a caregiver for children and adults....I worked with her for several years and she is compassionate and very responsible with others in her care :)

I've known Alita's family for close to 5 decades.  I was her fourth grade teacher and some of her siblings. Alita's dad was badly burned in a car and after a hard fight against it, he passed.  Alita assisted in his care as well as the care of her mother who had MS and was confined to a wheelchair.  She was also a lead pre-K teacher at Gateway Education Center with severely handicapped students, both mentally and physically.  I'm a retired school administrator for Guilford County Schools.  I visited Alita's class numerous times.  She absolutely loved her job, her students, her peers and the parents of her students.  She thrives on helping others.  She's patient, kind, knowledgeable and knows the challenges faced by people with learning/physical/mental issues.  Both my parents were eventually placed in nursing facilities.  I would have LOVED to think I could have someone with the heart, knowledge and experience that Alita has to help them in their home environment.
