About Alisson

Hi! I'm Alisson, and I'm so glad you're here! I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and minors in Pure Mathematics and Computer Science. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I and II, where I loved helping students build confidence in math. People always ask me what my favorite branch of math is, but I honestly can't choose! Algebra, arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus all have their own charm. I believe math stops feeling difficult once you truly understand it and discover the little tricks and patterns that make everything click. My goal is to help students understand the why, not just memorize steps. I offer online and in person tutoring, can meet at your home, and I'm always down for study groups. I can't wait to help you succeed and maybe even make math your favorite subject too!
