About Alissa

Hey, I'm Alissa, an English and writing tutor with experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. I worked as an English/Writing Tutor at my university's Writing Center, where I helped students strengthen their essays, grammar, clarity, structure, and overall confidence in writing. I'm also a certified English tutor/teacher with Preply, where I've worked with students from around the world, and I previously taught English to international children, focusing on reading, vocabulary, speaking, and basic grammar. Whether your student needs help with an essay, editing, understanding an assignment, improving writing skills, or boosting confidence, I teach in a patient, encouraging, and easy-to-understand way.
