About Alissa

Hello I'm Alissa I'm a college student and a Boston native. I'd describe my personality as fun, caring and, attentive I like working with kids because I like encouraging them to be the best versions of themselves. I started working with kids when I was a camp counselor at 14 and I later babysat for family friends. One thing you should know about me is I'm studying to be a therapist so I try to understand the emotions of children because I'm used to learning about adults. My skills include empathy, compassion and, behavioral management. In my spare time, I like to read books my current favorite is Homecoming by Yaa Gyasi. However my favorite hobbies are drawing and watching anime. I became a CNA in high school because I have a passion for helping people. This is also why I chose to become a Therapist.
