About Alissa

Hi my name is Alissa, and I am a full time nanny M-Th for one beaming infant. I am looking for side families in need of reoccurring childcare! Growing up as the oldest with 7 younger siblings, I have always been around children. I started out sitting and working as a part-time nanny in middle school, and the rest is history. I have lots of experience with families of different needs, and children of all ages. I have worked as a professional full time nanny for almost 4 years now. I take pride in my kind nature and patience with children, and I aim to balance gentle and assertive nannying styles. I am an active, outdoorsy, and creative person who enjoys singing and writing poetry and music. I love working with kids and take pride in getting to positively influence them as they grow into their own person! I am a newborn care specialist in training, and also CPR/AED certified; having successfully intervened in emergency choking situations on two occasions.
