About Alissa

I have five years of experience working with kids and can easily say it's something I love doing. I've worked in day care settings, home care settings, and school settings. I have my bachelor's in Speech Pathology and am going back for my graduate degree in the fall. Currently, I am RBT licensed and work full time in an ABA clinic with children on the autism spectrum and have experience working with kiddos in preschool to 5th grade on all levels of the spectrum. I'm a big fan of play-based and child-led activities, especially anything that involves learning through the senses or working on social-emotional learning. I love to be outdoors and I love learning about the environment as well as being out in the community, like planting trees or going to the library.
