About Alissa

Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience as a Certified teacher, I specialize in creating supportive, patient environments for elementary students across subjects ranging from Math and Science to Art and Study Skills. I believe that learning thrives when we move beyond memorization to build genuine confidence. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and connecting lessons to personal interests, I keep students engaged and motivated. I prioritize open communication with both students and parents to ensure our methods remain effective and aligned with individual goals. Building a strong, supportive rapport that makes the process of discovery truly enjoyable remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am eager to help your child grow, and I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of their educational journey.
