About Alissa

I like working with kids because their brains are forming and most kids are eager to soak up information. I'm looking for a job that makes me happy to wake up and see the kid(s) and how we can have a fun productive day without it seeming like work. Creative outlets to mundane things like homework and having some fun in between. Such as coloring, being outside, and playing together. I started working with kids when I was in my mid 20's. My nephew was born when I was 24 and he made me realize how fun kids can be! In my spare time, I like to garden, tend to my indoor plants, clean, take walks, go to the gym, and read. I understand how nerve wracking it can be trying to find the perfect someone for your most precious cargo in the world. It's endearing to watch as they figure out what they like and don't, how they interact with their siblings, pets and watching the wheels turn as they process emotions and experiences is priceless. I am patient, creative, and great at multi tasking.
