About Alissa

I am an experience teacher with a passion for helping others. I have worked with children of various ages, focusing on their growth and development. I am now seeking a nanny position, where I can utilize my skills in the more personalized and nurturing environment. I like working with kids because of my love for helping them learn and grow through innovative teachings there is a deep passion within me to make a positive difference in the lives of children. Seeing the progress they make, and excitement when they understand something new is incredibly rewarding. I started working with kids when I was an undergrad at Colorado Mesa University. I worked as a tutor, and then moved up to being a program Director for an afterschool program. After graduating college, I became an alumni to teacher for a charter school that helped motivate me to go to college and become a first generation student. In my spare time, I enjoy going to farmers markets, exercising and cooking.
