About Alison

It's my goal to help every student unlock their unique potential. With five years of experience and a graduate degree, I create engaging, supportive, and patient learning environments. I adapt my teaching using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions, always actively listening to how you learn. I connect challenging topics to your interests, celebrate successes, and break down problems to build momentum. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates to parents. As a certified teacher experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504), I can help with Math, English, Science, Special Education, and History at the elementary and middle school levels. Witnessing your "aha!" moment is what I love most about tutoring, and I look forward to helping you succeed.
