About Alison

I have been in the childcare field for over 22 years. I have been an in home private nanny/household manager for over 18 years. Before nannying, I was an infant/toddler/preschool teacher at a daycare. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, come CPR and First Aid Certified, can teach Baby Signs, have an extensive resume and stellar references. I have extensive experience with newborns up to ages 10 and I am also a Mom. I am passionate about teaching children. Its what I chose to do long before becoming a mother. I bring age appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, sensory activities, science projects and music (I play the flute!) and make sure trips to libraries and parks are frequent. I do believe though, that simply playing and putting in some floor time is just as important! I am available full time, part time, and as a newborn night nurse.
