About Alison

I have been working with kids for as long as I can remember. I am the oldest of 3, and the oldest among my cousins, so I have been responsible for babysitting duties since I was a teenager. I was also a lifeguard for 5 years; during that time I taught swim lessons and became the lead teacher in each of the classes I was responsible for. I also recently worked as a teacher's aide in an in-home Daycare in Lincoln Park, I sadly had to leave because of my classwork, but I loved working there and it gave me a lot of experience I am very grateful for. In my spare time, I like to read and write; but I also love going to the beach with my friends and taking advantage of the nice weather. I am still currently a student at DePaul University. I am an English major in my final semester and I will be done with my degree by November.
