About Alison Renee

Alison was our full-time and part-time nanny for 5 years when we lived in the northern Virginia area. She started work as a night nanny for our infant daughter, giving my husband and I much needed rest for a few nights a week. It made a tremendous difference--Alison took over night feedings, bottle prep, diaper changes, dishes, laundry and anything else that needed to be done to make our evenings less stressful. When I went back to work full time, Alison transitioned to become our full-time in-home nanny during work hours. During that time she was reliable, responsible and consistently checked in with my husband and I. She always abided by our house rules, always made sure to understand and respect our wishes when it came to childcare and always deferred to us when there was a question regarding our daughter's needs. She was wonderful and I am so grateful we had her in our home. When our second child was born we asked Alison if she would be willing to return to her role as a part time nanny. She agreed without hesitation. Then Covid hit. We did not want our daughter to remain in daycare during that time so we asked Alison to instead transition to full time care in our home which she agreed to. I cannot explain what a life saver it was to have Alison during Covid. My husband and I were able to continue working demanding jobs knowing that our kids were safe at home. Alison took every precaution and made our house as clean and safe as possible for the kids. We moved from Virginia to Texas after 5 years with Alison and it was tough. To this day we still routinely have Alison fly down for the kids' birthdays, vacations and get togethers. She is and always will be a member of our family. The bond our kids have with her is incredible and I hope she can form that same bond with more families in the future :)
