About Alison

I have been providing regular childcare for toddlers to tweens, often caring for them for 5+ hours at a time. I enjoy getting to know each child's unique personality and planning activities that match their interests and developmental stage. I believe children learn best through play. Whether we're reading, using imaginative play, playing games, or enjoying hands-on activities, I encourage skills like communication, problem-solving, kindness, taking turns, and confidence while making sure they're having fun. I believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, laughter, and the freedom to simply be kids. I understand how important it is for parents to trust the person caring for their child. I strive to be reliable, communicate openly, respect each family's routines and parenting style, and create a safe, supportive environment where children feel heard, valued, and cared for.
