About Alison

Hi! I have been working with young children since my years in college. I have worked with preschoolers aged 1. 5-5 years old and it is truly what brings me the most joy! Because I have worked in preschools, I am certified with many state mandated trainings focused on safety and development, as well as being CPR and First Aid certified. I have worked in Christian preschools as well as a privately owned secular preschool, so I am comfortable incorporating your family's beliefs and culture into our daily routines. I like working with kids because I love to watch their world expand! Connecting with a child is the most special thing I get to do. Learning about what makes them excited, what piques their interest, what challenges them, that is what makes me so excited to work with kids. I also like to work on school preparedness- such as adhering to schedules, learning about boundaries, and practical skills that will help the child succeed as they enter kindergarten or elementary school.
