About Alison

I am a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and Regsitered Nurse taking a step back from my job at a busy OB/Gyn practice to pursue my doctoral degree in nursing and to get back to my roots im childcare! I have been babysitting since the age of 12 , and throughout my years of full time education I held a variety of short and long term nanny positions. I have experience with newborns including twins, premature, and those with medical conditions; as well as infants through preteens. My primary passion is caring for the whole family during the postpartum period. Besides newborn care, I can offer care for mom, bottle washing, breastmilk storage, household chores, pet care, and occupying older siblings. As a nurse I am comfortable and confident with first-aid including recognizing signs of illness in babies and children. As a nurse practitioner with OB experience, I also feel confident providing support for mothers postpartum, although I cannot provide medical advice in my role as a nanny.
