About Alison

Out of everything I do for the many elderly people I have cared for and helped, by far the most meaningful and important to me has been serving as a positive companion for them, shedding some light on their day, making them feel like they have enjoyable company, someone who cares and will give them all the attention they can. It means so much to me to just make these folks feel better by being there for them, listening to them, asking questions about their family, interests, past memories etc. This has been one of the most rewarding things I've ever done and I take it seriously. Outside of being a companion, I am there to do anything my client needs, whether it's laundry, cleaning the house, changing their bedding, helping them bathe/shower, give bed baths when it's needed, run errands, take them to appointments etc. I will do anything for them and I have experience doing it all.
