About Alison

Hi there! My name is Alison, and I'm a creative and organized NYU graduate student seeking part-time childcare work for this upcoming academic year! I have experience in 1:1/2:1 after school care, camp settings, and 10 mos experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing direct, personalized behavioral interventions for 3 & 4 y/o children on the Autism Spectrum. Along w/ a bachelors degree with emphasis in Developmental Psychology, I'm CPR certified. My rates start at $25/hour for one child. I love listening to/playing music, doing crafts, and pretend play, but also enjoy encouraging a child's independent time. My friends would describe me as funny and kind, but I respect and encourage boundaries and am not shy about working with a child to maintain them.
