Hi there, I started working with kids when I was around 12 years old as a nanny for my neighborhood families, helping my mother raise all 3 of my younger siblings, and babysitting my cousin who is now 11. I like to be hands on and engage in playtime with kids. Playing pretend, arts and crafts, exploring the outdoors, reading stories. I'm detail oriented, patient and nurturing. I've always enjoyed being around children because it reminds me of when I was little and when I was able to be a part of raising my three siblings, it made me feel whole. In my spare time, I like to go on backpacking adventures, work on my art projects and photography, and play with my puppy. Alisha is amazing. When my daughters were 4 and 6 Alisha helped me care for them while I was working long hours. We were neighbors at the time and she helped me for 3 years. She made every day so much fun for the girls, playing pretend with them, arts and crafts, and taking them to swim class. She is also a hard worker, she always made sure their rooms were clean and toys organized. She’s still part of our family and has had such a positive impact on my girls.
