About Alisha

I'm a newborn care specialist and postpartum doula. I offer overnight care for infants from the time they come home from the hospital up to a year old. I'm proficient in feeding, diapering, soothing and encouraging healthy sleep hygiene. In addition to providing care for your little one, I also assist with light housekeeping tasks related to baby care, such as washing and sanitizing bottles and/or breast pump equipment, preparing formula and/or breastmilk , and handling baby laundry. I offer services for 8-12 hours each night, typically between 7 p.m. and 7 AM, and I'm available 1-7 nights a week depending on your family's needs. I do require a resting place for myself during the baby's sleep time once all duties are completed. This could be a couch or guest bedroom or something similar. I can't recommend Alisha enough -f you get the chance to hire her, you absolutely should, you're lucky! She acted as a newborn specialist/night nanny for us after a severe PPD/PPA diagnosis. I can honestly say she helped me become a mother. Knowing she was with our son while I was sleeping let me practice saying 'I'm doing the best I can right now because he's safe with Alisha' and gave my brain the rest it needed to get back to 'normal'. She was always on time, incredibly gentle, caring, and loving towards our son, and always willing to go the extra mile to be helpful before leaving in the morning. Additionally, her experience and our discussions when she came each night helped me learn so much about our son, and she worked with him on improving his sleep habits (independent sleep for the win!). I can't recommend her enough - in short, she's: - Trustworthy - Caring - Knowledgeable - Dependable - A joy to work with
