Hi! I have a special place in my heart for individuals with disabilities! I've worked with them in various settings since high school. I was a peer mentor and loved becoming friends with so many different people. In college I worked at an outdoor recreation facility where we took teens and adults on adventures they'd never been able to experience! Such a fun summer. I worked at Brades Place in Orem where I ran their day program. We had participants of all ages with multiple diagnoses ranging from intellectual to physical. I currently work at the Rec Center in Pleasant Grove as their Adaptive Coordinator. I have experience with feeding tubes, brief changing, showering, transfers, and more.
