About Alisha

Hello! I'm Alisha, I'm currently studying child development psychology and historical theology, and I love working with kids and being a positive, encouraging presence in their lives. I try to create a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe, understood, and able to have fun. I have experience teaching ballet to children ages 3-8, caring for infants and toddlers, and I worked as a behavior technician with autistic children where I used positive reinforcement and imaginative play to work with kids! These experiences taught me patience, adaptability, and the importance of meeting each child where they're at. In my free time, I'm usually reading or baking. I also enjoy cooking, cleaning, and organizing, and I'm always happy to help keep the home running smoothly. I'm CPR and AED trained and am dependable, attentive, and genuinely caring in the work I do.
