About Alisha

I've always been drawn to senior care. My grandparents had dementia and I loved to spend time one on one with them. I'm patient and gentle and I don't mind one bit repeating myself constantly. ;) My father in law was diagnosed with ALS in his 70's and I was his primary caregiver for over two years. I've also cared for a dementia patient recently and would love to continue in this line of work. I love to help others feel comfortable and cared for. I can listen to and engage in conversation with elderly people- it's one of my absolute joys. I also have quiet hobbies like needlework to keep me occupied while patients nap, talk, or watch tv. I've raised 4 children so cooking and cleaning are part of my skill set as well. I'm happy to meet and see if we're a good match for care.
