About Alisa

Hi! I'm an elementary teacher and former art teacher looking for a summer nanny position. I'm a creative, upbeat person who truly enjoys spending time with kids and learning with them through play, art, and outdoor activities. In the summer, I love gardening, creating, going to the library, and being outside as much as possible. I enjoy bringing these interests into my time with young people as well! I have over 10 years of experience working with children. I spent six summers working as a nanny and the past 4 summers running and teaching summer art camps at Big Picture Studio in North Liberty. As a teacher, I'm patient, organized, caring, and I work hard to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids!
