About Alina

Hi! My name is Alina. I'm a part-time college student with a strong academic background, including the International Baccalaureate program, several AP courses, and college-level chemistry. I enjoy helping students understand challenging material in a way that feels clear, engaging, and approachable. I have experience working with children with a wide range of learning styles, including students with ADHD, focus challenges, and special needs. I aim to create a supportive learning environment that builds confidence while making learning interactive and enjoyable. In addition to academic tutoring, I've taught art classes, developed art curricula, and led after-school art programs at a public elementary school. This experience has helped me learn how to make lessons creative, engaging, and adaptable for different learners. My goal as a tutor is to help students feel capable and confident while making learning both effective and enjoyable.
