About Alina

Hi! My name is Alina, and it would be a pleasure to work with you! I am a 21-year-old part-time chemistry student, as well as a babysitter and art studio manager. I grew up alongside my brother who is autistic & nonverbal, which has given me a lifetime of experience with special needs, caregiving, and patience. I've worked with multiple lovely families through care. com in the past 4 years, caring for both autistic and neurotypical children. I'm familiar with clients that have behaviors, communication barriers, or more hands-on needs like help with showering or toileting. On the weekends I manage an art studio where I teach art classes to kids/adults, host birthday parties, run our art summer camp program, and lead a team of eight studio assistants to provide a creative atmosphere for the whole community.
