About Alina

Hi everyone! I absolutely love working with kids and being someone they can have fun with while still feeling safe and cared for. I have over 5 years of childcare experience, including helping raise my younger cousins, babysitting at church, and working with a family through this app, Care. I have experience with things like playtime, meals, diaper changes, and bedtime routines, and I always try to keep things fun, positive, and easygoing. Also, I'm currently a student at Portland State University, working toward my Bachelor's in Accounting. Another fun fact - I'm fluent in Russian! I worked at Mathnasium for 3 years as a math tutor, helping kids ages 6-18 build confidence and enjoy learning. In addition, I coached middle school girls' volleyball for grades 6-8, which was honestly so fun. I'm also very athletic and enjoy being outdoors! I love building a good relationship with both kids and parents and making sure everyone feels comfortable and happy!
