About Alina

I'm a recent PLNU grad with a B. S. in Computer Science (emphasis in Cybersecurity), and I have time available before my next commitment begins in early 2027 - so I'm looking to put my background to good use. I'm the 4th of 10 kids, and helping younger siblings with homework and schoolwork was just part of daily life growing up. When I was 16, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and I took on a lot of the household responsibilities - including making sure the younger kids stayed on track with school. That experience taught me how to explain things patiently, meet kids where they are, and keep them moving forward even when things are hard. I'm most confident tutoring in computer science, math, and technical subjects, but I'm comfortable working across levels and subjects depending on what a student needs. I'm reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy helping things click for people. Happy to answer any questions about my background or experience
