Caring for others has been a consistent part of my life for years. At 16, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. As she became bedridden, I became one of her primary caregivers - feeding her, bathing and changing her, managing medications, and doing overnight shifts. It was demanding, humbling work that taught me what real caregiving looks like. I've also been a long-term support for my grandmother - cooking, running errands, and taking her to appointments to keep her comfortable and independent. Professionally, I've provided overnight care for an elderly woman, handling her bedtime routine, restroom assistance, timed medications, and morning care - translating what I'd always done for family into a reliable professional setting. I'm a recent PLNU grad with availability before a commitment beginning early 2027, and I'm looking to do meaningful work in the meantime. I bring patience, steadiness, and genuine respect for the people I care for.
