About Alina

Hello! I am a Canadian-born nanny with over 10 years of childcare experience. I have been employed by one family of 3 girls for the last 3 years, but now the youngest are beginning Preschool in the fall, and I am looking to start work with a new family who would need full-time help starting early-mid August. I am fluent in French, have a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree (and love to share music and arts with children), and also am experienced with animals. I have experience with a wide age range, from newborns to middle schoolers. I have most recently nannied twin girls from their infancy till 30 months old as well as their older sister from 2 to 5 years of age. As a caregiver, I believe that positive reinforcement, creative activities and exploring the world are key. I work with the children's parents to be a team working together towards their healthy development, self-confidence and joy. My background as a performing artist helps me engage with children through art.
