I've always had a passion for helping children who have special needs. I've worked at a Co-op school for children with a variety of special needs such as Cereal palsy, Down Syndrome, multiple sclerosis & Autism. While working at this Co-op I received training on seizures, lifting and transferring children, feeding and diapering (I'm CPR, CPI & 1st Aid Certified) I've also worked as a Behavioral Therapist. My methodology is play based and helps children obtain fine motor and gross motor skills. I also teach children how to regulate their emotions and implement speech therapy techniques, allowing children to communicate better with their families.
