I graduated with a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Denver, having switched my major between physics and mechanical engineering before settling on computer science. I also went to the school of nursing at Lander University in South Carolina for a year before deciding it wasn't for me and moving to Denver. I have experience in all levels of math, including: algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics & probability, pre-calculus, and calculus up to the college level. I have direct experience working at a Denver high school for a year as a Math Teaching Fellow in a classroom environment. I worked one-on-one with students having difficulties grasping concepts, I also ran the after school math tutoring program. I've tutored 2nd graders struggling to read on grade level for a school year internship; where they showed dramatic improvement. At Lander University I was a Peer Tutor in Anatomy & Physiology.
