About Alicia

I knew from a young age that I wanted to be a nurse. My mother was a care giver and I would occasionally get to go with her. She had so much compassion, patience and genuine love for her patients and I knew that I wanted to be just like her. I began my healthcare career as a senior in high school when I became a care giver, just like my mother. I then graduated from nursing school and worked for a local hospital for over 5 years and am currently a Public Health Nurse. I worked on a medical/surgical floor and then moved to the ER. I have experience in medical reconciliation and administration, wound care, surgical drain care, PEG tube maintenance, bathing, etc. I can also help with non-medical needs such as light house work, meal prepping, errands, etc.
