Hello, I'm a 34-year-old mother of two I became interested in becoming a Nurse at a early age my father was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer and I was determined to help care for him as I was a daddies little girl! I've been a CNA for 5 years I have experience working with elders with dementia, Alzheimer's, comfort care, and companionship! The feeling of bringing joy to a person who needs it is pleasing more than anything. Patience is key Especially when dealing with elders, most of the time we have to step out of our comfort zone and enter their world . It takes a special kind of person to want to care for the elderly its something within yourself. For the past 2 years I've worked with a great family who's loved one has passed on. I also understand that it's a lot on families to see their loved ones go threw life changes and nothing they can do about it and feel bad they have their own life's but it's my duty to make families feel 100% comfortable with My care for their loved one
