About Alicia

I bring a unique hands-on & professional background in childcare and development. I've worked in daycares, after-school programs, residential treatment, and as a nanny. Most recently, I spent 4 years working as a school psychologist, supporting children from ages 2-18 with and without special needs. I approach children with respect and see them as individuals with real thoughts and emotions, while still maintaining structure and boundaries. I'm calm, grounded, and intuitive, which helps me connect easily with children, including those who are shy or experience big emotions. I'm especially intentional about emotional regulation, so children can build lifelong skills in understanding and managing their emotions. I value creativity and connection through play, conversation, and reading. I always want children and their families to feel seen, heard, and safe. I'm currently seeking a full- or part-time opportunity with a family looking for consistent, high-quality care. With care, Alicia
