About Alicia

Nurturing young minds is my passion. I hold a BS degree in Psych & a MA certification as a HS teacher. For the last 11 years, I have been with my children & for the past 5, I have been homeschooling them. I find joy in fostering children's growth through creative activities & educational games and play. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages. I am patient, calm & ready to follow your lead when it comes to household rules & your preferred communication style. I am happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping & errands. I have a car & I love pets. My 7& 9-year-old children attend a microschool 4 days/week. My 5-year-old daughter tried it last year, & she is still not emotionally ready, so we are homeschooling her kindergarten year. I am hoping to find a p/t position that will complement our school schedule & one in which I can take my daughter with me. She is a very calm, kind, sweet, & smart little girl.
