I have been a Nanny for two wonderful boys. There ages when I began were 14 months old and 2 years old. I was with the boys until the youngest entered Kindergarten. I previously worked in the education field, and I focused on reading to the boys and building their vocabulary. I always enjoyed being outdoors with them and would take them in their double stroller for long walks in the park. As they were getting older I would take them to Soccer, the Library, & for Music Classes . After M entered Kindergarten I became a Nanny for a 5-month-old girl, N until she was 5 years old. Again I would read to her and then read with her. We did coloring together, craft projects and have play time each day. Again, I believe being outdoors is very important and we would go the the park several times a week. We also went to Gymnastics once or twice a week as N was terrific doing Gymnastics. One thing I truly know is that children need to feel safe, secure and loved!

I have known Alice for about 30 years, we started as neighbors and became life long friends. Alice became a nanny for my two grandsons, who are only 14 months apart. She took on that task when they were young babies, one was 2 and the other 14 months. She continued until the youngest went to school. Alice had full responsibility for them, doctor appointments, Mommy and Me classes,swimming lessons, library, she was so good to the kids, they loved her. Today they are 12 and 13 and love her like a grandmother. Alice is still baking them brownies and dropping off their favorite dishes. She is a gem. I highly recommend her, she gives her heart and soul to her job, she loves children, she is the best.
