My first dog "owning" experience occurred when I was 4 years old and picked out a cock-a-poo mutt from the local SPCA. Charlie, as I named him, was my first love and sparked my admiration for all canines. As I have come to learn, dogs have owners and cats have staff (I have cats, so I would know)! The loyalty and energy of dogs never ceases to amaze me and I have yet to meet a dog I didn't like. I find myself out and about watching and admiring dogs more than the people that may be with them. Some of my fondest memories are from when I volunteered at different SPCA's and for other animal advocacy organizations. I have three cats of my own (yes, I am a crazy cat lady along with my wife), so there is no shortage of animal love and appreciation in my own home. I wouldn't consider myself a cat-person or a dog-person, as I love all animals equally.

Ali is amazing with cats and dogs. She made sure bowls were clean, litter was changed and sent pictures of playtime. She brought in mail and packages and put flowers in a vase to greet us!! Wow.
