About Alia

Previously a 7-12 Social Studies teacher with Masters degree in American History. I currently work as a regionally based Admissions Counselor for a university in another state. My work includes advising Chicagoland high school students through the college admissions process. I am academically trained in child development (all ages) as well the social sciences, specifically utilizing reading/writing skills. I have held several nanny/long term babysitting position over the last 10 years and absolutely love working with children. My favorite activities include nature hikes/walks, biking, cooking, and reading. I look forward to meeting you and your family.
