About Aliah

I have a background in both child development and behavioral studies in children. I have a bachelors in Speech Language Pathology and a masters in Recreational Therapy, so one could say I love creating new learning experiences through art! I have previously worked as a kindergarten teacher, childcare supervisor, camp counselor, ABA therapist, speech therapist and caregiver for about 5 different families. I value building strong and personal relationships as well as providing successful communication and listening skills for the improvement of the child. I also have experience with meal preparation, homework help, and light housekeeping (I love washing dishes). Some of my interests that I bring to the table for instruction as well as interactive play are sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I enjoy childcare positions because I do not have any of my own yet and would love the opportunity to help you with yours!
