About Alexxa

With over seven years of childcare experience, I am passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments. I began as an after-school counselor for K-4th graders, assisting with homework and activities, and later served as a GenCyber Lead Peer Mentor, teaching cybersecurity through fun, age-appropriate lessons. I am currently a Pre-K4 teaching assistant, a role I love, where I've gained hands-on experience in early education within a Christ-centered environment. While I am still completing my teaching certification, it is in progress, and I am CPR certified. I've also been active in church programs and community outreach, giving me experience with children in both structured and unstructured settings. These roles strengthened my ability to adapt to different learning styles, manage groups effectively, and build positive relationships with children and families. Since I am moving to California soon, I am seeking a new position where I can continue doing what I love most.
