About Alexxa

With over seven years of childcare experience, I am passionate about creating safe, engaging, and supportive environments. I began as an after-school counselor for K-4th graders, assisting with homework and activities, while also working as a babysitter for a year, providing individualized care. I later served as a GenCyber Lead Peer Mentor, teaching cybersecurity through fun, age-appropriate lessons. As a Pre-K4 teaching assistant, a role I loved, I gained hands-on experience in early education in a Christ-centered environment. I currently work as a behavior technician in an ABA setting, implementing behavior plans, collecting data, reinforcing positive behaviors, and supporting communication and life skills. I am completing my teaching certification, am CPR certified, and have additional experience through church and community programs, strengthening my adaptability, group management, and relationship-building skills with children and families.
